Welcome to Church of the Isles, UCC
We’re an Open and Affirming congregation of the United Church of Christ, serving the Indian Rocks Beach community and west Pinellas County. Our purpose is to be a radically inclusive spiritual community of belonging, to practice responsible ecological stewardship of our barrier island, and to offer service to those in need.
For more than 70 years, Church of the Isles has been part of the story of Indian Rocks Beach—a place of worship, fellowship, service, and connection.
In 2024, Hurricanes Helene and Milton brought unprecedented challenges to our church and our island community. Our campus suffered devastating flooding and significant damage, forcing us to rebuild much of what generations before us had created. But the storms could not wash away the spirit of this congregation.
With faith, determination, and the extraordinary support of our members, neighbors, volunteers, and friends, Church of the Isles endured. We rebuilt. We reopened. And we emerged with a renewed sense of purpose.
Today, Church of the Isles remains where it has stood for generations—rooted in faith, shaped by community, and looking toward the future with hope.
