Meet the team

I preach, teach, lead worship, do outreach in the community, serve an administrative role in our organization, and provide spiritual and emotional care to the congregation.

Something fun about me: I make atmospheric music in my spare time.

My credentials: Ordained Minister in the United Church of Christ (2019); MDiv, Chicago Theological Seminary (2019); PhD, University of Denver and Iliff School of Theology Joint Doctoral Program in the Study of Religion (in progress)

I support church staff with administrative needs, manage church calendar and facility usage, coordinate volunteer schedules, maintain the church facilities and collaborate with the finance team  and church council on budgeting and allocating of funds.

Something fun about me:  I enjoy growing Orchids. 

I provide handyman services.

Something fun about me: I love to bake.

I work in Music Ministry as song leader, choir director and vocalist. I also oversee the Audio/Visual Dept with the help of my son Christopher Watson.

Something fun about me: I once had a man stop me in a store who told me my beard was “‘Majestic.”

I help lead worship by providing piano accompaniment to singers and the choir as well as instrumental music when needed! 

Something fun about me: In addition to the music degree I am also working towards a bachelors degree in forensic science right now!
